Our Beginning
All Around the Home was founded by 3 cousins (turned business partners) in December of 2005. We created the company, the business model and the website to do one thing:
Match homeowners with top-quality home improvement contractors... without the hassle of other "services".
For the first year our site focused on the Baltimore and Washington DC metro area, which is where our business was born. As of January 2007 we've begun expanding beyond the Mid-Atlantic in an effort to bring our grassroots, quality-focused approach to new regions.

All Around the Home (AATH) is essentially a directory of home improvement contractors, sorted by both location and service category. Our site helps homeowners find home improvement professionals to handle or assist with their projects or repair needs.
For homeowners: If you are a homeowner, AATH offers a fast and convenient way to contact local contractors. As compared with other home improvement directories, on AATH you select which contractors contact you. That's right.
